A square neckline, closely spaced covered buttons and horizontal quilting give this split-tail waistcoat a sharply defined upper body. The front ends in two neat points, while long rounded tails extend behind the hips and separate at the center back.

The sleeveless cut leaves room to show a full-sleeved shirt or a close-fitting underlayer. Choose Slate Blue for a muted finish or Burgundy for a stronger accent in a Renaissance fair, fantasy or theatrical outfit.

Measure bust and waist over the shirt you plan to wear, then choose the larger size indicated by those measurements. The front buttons should close without strain. Check torso length and armhole comfort before selecting a fitted size.
