Finished chest is the garment circumference. Shoulder width is measured straight across the back between sleeve seams. Short-sleeve length runs from the shoulder seam to the cuff. The finished body length runs from the high shoulder point beside the neck to the hem, rather than from the center-back neck.
Check the intended elbow-sleeve and hem positions against your own proportions.
Measurements are given in inches and centimeters. The first unit shown is the reference; the second is rounded. Use one unit consistently.
Bram is a short-sleeve linen tunic with a knee-length body, a rounded keyhole neckline and a small neck button. Its simple shape works as a main layer or beneath a hood, cloak or coat.
Design and details
The straight sleeves finish around the elbow. Side gores widen the lower body, and short side slits open the hem. A small button fastens the neck opening. Underarm gussets complete the cut.
