The Quilted Medieval Hood places a shallow quilt pattern across the crown and upper yoke, while the lower mantle remains smooth. A single flat button fastens the front. The design has no trailing tail or decorative buckles.

The contrast between the quilted upper section and plain lower mantle adds texture over a tunic or coat. This is costume clothing, not protective padding, and is intended for medieval-inspired fairs, fantasy outfits and LARP dress.

Materials and construction

Wool-cotton outer with low-loft cotton batting in the crown and upper yoke, and a cotton-linen lining. The quilting stops above the smooth lower mantle.
