Finished chest is measured around the coat with its front secured in the intended wearing position. On a wrap coat, do not add the overlap twice. Shoulder width runs seam to seam across the back; sleeve length runs from the shoulder seam to the finished cuff.
Check the desired hem position by measuring from the high shoulder point beside your neck to the intended hem. Exact finished body length varies by design; contact us before ordering if a particular length is essential.
Measurements are given in inches and centimeters. The first unit shown is the reference; the second is rounded. Use one unit consistently.
Ashdown is a knee-length hooded coat with a shaped wool-blend body, a flared skirt and six centered front fastenings. Its deep hood and plain finish suit ranger and fantasy outfits.
Design and details
A lightly fitted six-panel torso opens into side and back gores. The design includes long two-piece sleeves, a deep hood and a center-back walking vent. Six leather tabs fasten over brass bars at the front, with two vertical welt pockets below.
