Measure around the fullest part of your chest with the tape level, over the shirt or other layers you intend to wear underneath. Keep the tape comfortably snug and record the measurement without adding extra inches or centimeters.

Measure the natural waist around the narrowest part of the torso, keeping the tape level and without pulling it tight. Measure over the same base layer.

Choose the larger size if chest and waist fall in different rows. These are wearer measurements, not finished garment dimensions.

Choose by chest and natural waist measured over the shirt you intend to wear. The back tab is a shaping detail; do not rely on it to correct a size that is too small. Check torso length separately if you need the hem to meet a particular trouser or skirt waist.
